Disclosure Requirements for Solicitations Conducted in Washington State RCW 19.09.100

All organizations that are required to register with the Charities Program must also disclose certain information with each request for a contribution.

The type of disclosures required will depend on how the request is made and who is making the request. In addition, the disclosure must be clear, and made with each request for a contribution.

A sample of a written disclosure is provided below:

*If your organization is fundraising in other states, please contact those states for any additional registration and disclosure requirements you may be required to make.
